Jessica Lowndes Stars in ‘Someday at Christmas’

Great American Family is continuing to rollout their slate of original holiday movies. Jessica Lowndes, Paul Greene and seven-time Grammy winner Gladys Knight will star in “Someday at Christmas,” set to premiere this November. Production begins today on the film, which marks the reunion of Knight with former Motown chief, writer-producer Suzanne de Passe.

“Great American Christmas,” the network’s franchise, will return with a new slate of original holiday movies premiering every Saturday and Sunday on October 21. Christmas movies will air all day and all night through the end of 2022.

This marks Greene’s first appearance on Great American Family. The “When Calls the Heart” star is a staple on Hallmark Channel, leading nine of their movies since 2015. This year, he will also appear in CBS’ holiday movie, “Fit for Christmas,” alongside Amanda Kloots.

In February, Lowndes signed a four-picture deal to star in, write, direct and executive produce original films for Great American Family. She’s already worked on multiple movies for the network, including producing and starring in the first original film to air on the network, “Autumn Romance.”

She will also perform some original holiday songs throughout the film, which she wrote with Aaron G. Edwards, Lowndes is repped by Aperture Entertainment, Deb Dillstone, A3 Artists Agency and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.

Jessica Lowndes New Album “Elemental”

Canadian music, TV, and film star Jessica Lowndes shares her debut album “ELEMENTAL,” followed by the comprehensive visual album on September 16, 2022.

[…]

A reflective new album laced with supple melodies and soul-baring introspection; it features seven different songs that combine to form a 30-minute short to tell her story. She employs the natural elements (earth, water, air and fire) to convey the emotions of the stories she tells, each with a different element. Jessica’s production has evolved into a spicy back and forth, and this project highlights the essence of sound that she has spent time fine-tuning as she explores the journey of love, loss, and redemption.

Jessica uses her considerable storytelling abilities to sort through the weight of searching for love, romantic uncertainty and rediscovering self, throughout the entire project.

Jessica Lowndes interview with Haute Living

Jessica Lowndes embarked on a big project to kick star her year. The 90210 actress began releasing a collection of songs/videos from her visual album Elemental in May. Together, all videos create a short film, which is her directorial debut (and which she also stars in). She will be rolling out videos over the next few months and the visual album will be released in its entirety in September.

Elemental sets out to showcase the journey we all go on: from being in love, to having your heart broken to finding new love again, and all the ups and downs along the way. It’s conveyed using natural disasters and elements as metaphors, the inner turmoil and inner joy that comes from heartache and finding new love. Lowndes has self-released over 20 original songs and her single, Silicone in Stereo, reached #11 on the Billboard Charts in both the U.S. and Canada. Her duet “Alive,” which she performed with her co-star and Broadway sensation Jeremy Jordan for the film Mix Up in the Mediterranean cracked the top 15 on iTunes last year. She also co-wrote/performed the hit song “Paradise” from her film “Over the Moon in Love” which hit #1 on iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. Here, she shares the impetus for her album, and why heartbreak — while painful — really does allow for creating beautiful art.
