Here’s an interview from Chicago Tribune. Jessica talks about what’s in store for her 90210 character and her own music career.
It looks like Ade’s music career might be over before it began. Can you give us any spoilers on what might happen with Javier’s uncle?
It’s definitely going to be dramatic. From the second she stole the music there was this big lie hanging over her head, and now there’s this person that knows it and is going to use it against her and it’s going to continue to be a big problem. Victor is a very devious person himself. He has a very interesting take on the situation. He’s got a little plan for Adrianna and you’re going to see that unravel and see her deal with that. She gets thrown into this new life and she’s definitely going to get consumed by it. She’s someone who is fame-driven; she’s this failed childhood actor and she’s trying to climb her way back up. She sees this as her second chance and she’s not going to let go of it easily.
Do you think Ade feels guilty at all for taking Javier’s songbook?
I think she feels extremely guilty. I think she felt guilty from the second she told Laurel, and when she sang it for Navid and when the video went viral. She definitely feels guilty and she knows she was doing something wrong, but again, she’s looking for her comeback. I don’t condone what she did — and I don’t condone someone videotaping it at the memorial — but this is something she’s going to struggle with.
You also have your own music career growing alongside your work on 90210. How has your music changed since you first started singing on the show?
I wrote my first song when I was 15. That will stay in the vault, no one is ever going to hear that song! I did a demo when I was 16. My best friend and I wrote four songs and at the I was going through a breakup that I thought was this big deal and it was so not, it was completely cheesy. But I was heading down to L.A. and I was sitting next to a music producer on the plane. I didn’t know anything about him, we were just chit-chatting the way people do on planes, and he mentioned he was interested in music so I have him my demo. He ended up calling me six months later and bought one of the songs. So that was how I first started.
Now, I know more who I am. I definitely like the pop/rock genre, and I like to incorporate the piano. My mother was a piano teacher and I’ve been playing since I was 10.
Digital Spy has an interview with our Jessica. She talks about her 90210 character Adrianna, the current season and more. Read some excerpts below and go to DigitalSpy.co.uk to read the full interview.
What’s coming up for Adrianna this season?
“In season two she was offered a summer tour with Javier, so she ends up dropping out of school to pursue a music career. So there’s definitely a lot of music this season, which is fun. And there’s a lot of bad decisions, and with that lifestyle it’s hard. She’s no longer in high school and her boyfriend Navid is in high school, so that’s hard with their relationship. She’s a lot of drama!”
How do you think Adrianna is going to cope with her new lifestyle?
“I think she’s definitely going to be falling into fame. It’s going to blow up and so many things are going to start happening to her. I don’t know if she’s going to be able to handle it, because she cracks under pressure and turns to other things to numb it.”
You mentioned Adrianna’s relationship with Navid – what do you think is going to happen with them?
“I love Adrianna and Navid together, but obviously the relationship is very difficult. Navid is a senior in high school, and I think he’s coming up for a lot of changes. But at the end of the day I don’t think anyone can truly compete with their history. They’ve gone through so much together and they love each other. So we’ll have to wait and see.”
And you’ve got some scenes with Joe Jonas this season…
“I worked with Joe Jonas all last week! It was really, really fun – he’s such a sweetheart. He’s really genuine and really great to work with. I can’t wait for people to see the scenes. I think they’re going to come out really great.”
Why do you like playing Adrianna?
“She’s such a complex character. As an actor that’s really challenging and really rewarding because I’m learning a lot as an actress and as a person. It’s always hard playing stuff out of your comfort zone, and a lot of the things my character has gone through have been things I don’t have a personal experience of, but when you’re scared about something and you overcome it and at the end of the day it’s not so hard anymore, there’s nothing more rewarding. When I first signed on I was supposed to be in the first two episodes as a singer in the school musical and it turned into so much more.”
TV Fanatic has a new exclusive interview with Jessica. She talks about 90210 season three, new album and more.
You were recording during the show’s break. What can we expect from that?
It’s been incredible. During hiatus I started putting together an album, which is fantastic. I got to record a lot in LA and London and I teamed up with this pop artist from the UK called Ironik. We have a single coming out on October 25 in London, we just shot the music video for that.
Where is Adrianna when the show comes back?
My character is no longer in high school, she’s now touring and doing the rock star thing and is definitely a lot stronger this season. I’ve been singing since I was three; it’s the one thing in Adrianna’s life that I can totally relate to.
Give us some 90210 spoilers for your character this season.
It’s a dream role for any actress. I’ve done the drug stuff, the pregnancy thing, the love triangle, the lesbian affair and now the music. Adrianna’s addicted to the drama, and even when she’s in it, she says she doesn’t want it. If things go smoothly she gets really bored and craves that next hit of exciting or drama. It’s really interesting and its been fun because I feel like she’s growing up.
I’ve been able to record for the show, so there’s going to be a lot more music this season. We start filming episode six next week, and it’s the craziest episode ever. I’m really excited. It’s only been a summer since you’ve seen her last, so her lifestyles changed, she’s still the same person and she’s trying to stay as normal as possible but her life is going at a different rate and speed. She had to dropout out of high school to pursue singing, and managing having a boyfriend in Navid.
She makes a really bad decision at some point, which is the worst thing ever and she’s stuck and cant get out of it. Something like that is definitely going to change her. You’re going to see how fame can really go to someones head.
Jessica answered some question at MyStyle about her style, makeup and beauty secrets. Read the interview below!
WHAT SHE’S STYLIN’: I’m wearing a Bebe dress, belt, jacket, bracelet and rings. My clutch is Tylie Malibu and my shoes are Report Signature. I think my personal style is very similar to the clothes at Bebe. It’s sexy and feminine, yet classic as well. I’m always someone who likes to do something a little edgy, and they do really bold patterns and cool geometric designs, which I love.RETRO FINDS: I sometimes go vintage and thrift store shopping in L.A. at The Way We Wore and The Paper Bag Princess. I have a new appreciation for ’40s fashion. It fits really cute with the accentuated waists.
SHOE FETISH: I love Brian Atwood; they’re just sexy. But, if I wanted to go for a less expensive version, I’d have to say Steve Madden. I’ve fallen in love with their nude pump. They make your legs look longer and don’t hurt!
MAKEUP MAVEN: I love NYX’s eye shadows. They come in so many different colors. I’m a painter in my spare time—not a lot of people know that. I like to experiment. When I went to private school, I would express myself through my makeup. Dramatics eyes are always fun!
BEAUTY SECRETS: I drink lots of water and I always moisturize. I love to wear tinted moisturizer during the day, especially Laura Mercier. And I take off my makeup with Bioré’s Facial Cleansing Cloths. I also use Kate Somerville’s Quench cleanser. It’s one of the best exfoliators, because you don’t need to necessarily use water.

Jessica Lowndes dishes the dirt on life in Beverly Hills.
What does future hold for you character? JL: Drama, definitely! Adrianna’s quite emotional, so there’ll be a lot of highs and a lot of lows, and definitely a lot of drama!
If you could date any celeb in the world, who would it be? JL: Hmmm…I really couldn’t say. Like, I love Justin Bieber, and I think that he’s mega talented and really cute, but I don’t know if I would wanna date him…this question is hard!
How has fame changed you life? JL: Well, now I can pay my rent! (Ha ha!). I’ve had quite a few cool fan encounters…I’ve had a few people how have gone throught the same as Adrianna and have thanked me for helping them, which is the most amazing experience!
Do you have any style tips for our readers? JL: I think that everyone should take risks from time-to-time, so wear your hair totally different and try out something new that you wouldn’t normally wear!

“There’s definitely a lot of big things to come,” she said. “You see, Adrianna has just been offered a record deal. So there’s going to a lot more music which is so much fun for me, cause I am actually a singer, and I am recording an album right now. So in a couple weeks, two of my songs are actually going to be on the show.”
She went on to say there may be a new love interest for her character since being cheated on by Gia, played by Rumer Willis.
“You just saw Rumer’s character Gia cheat on my character. So they’ll definitely me more love stories,” she said.

“There has to be some kind of drama involved for Adrianna,” Lowndes tells PopcornBiz. “She’s just addicted to it.”
Lowndes wouldn’t elaborate on what is in store for her character, happen to her character, and declined to rule out some extreme possibilities. Will she go full Britney and end up shaving her head?
“I’m hoping they let my character keep long hair, but I’ll never say never,” she said.
In the meantime, Lowndes is enjoying the perks of her character’s girl-band career since it gives the multi-talented actress a chance to sing. And yes, that’s her own singing voice (“A lot of people don’t know that,” she confessed).
