Jessica Lowndes New Album “Elemental”

Canadian music, TV, and film star Jessica Lowndes shares her debut album “ELEMENTAL,” followed by the comprehensive visual album on September 16, 2022.

[…]

A reflective new album laced with supple melodies and soul-baring introspection; it features seven different songs that combine to form a 30-minute short to tell her story. She employs the natural elements (earth, water, air and fire) to convey the emotions of the stories she tells, each with a different element. Jessica’s production has evolved into a spicy back and forth, and this project highlights the essence of sound that she has spent time fine-tuning as she explores the journey of love, loss, and redemption.

Jessica uses her considerable storytelling abilities to sort through the weight of searching for love, romantic uncertainty and rediscovering self, throughout the entire project.

Jessica covers the Winter 2018 issue of Luxury Life

Adrianna Tate-Duncan, her famed character on 90210, was a hardcore drug addict, and it’s a testament to her acting ability that someone as fresh-faced and untroubled as Jessica Lowndes could make her so believable. The talented Canadian actress and singer, who originally appeared as a guest on the show but was made a permanent member of the cast by popular demand, hails from Vancouver, British Columbia. A born entertainer who started performing at a young age, Lowndes has appeared in numerous TV shows and movies, including the 2014 action flick The Prince with Bruce Willis and John Cusack.

Lowndes, a naturally gorgeous brunette with 750,000 Instagram followers (@jessicalowndes), has also written several hit songs, and is now putting her fame to good use, launching a charitable clothing initiative that she discusses here in detail for the first time. And it’s only a matter of time before Lowndes lands a really big role worthy of her talents and truly becomes a household name, but we think she’ll always be the down to earth girl from Canada who almost seems too innocent for Hollywood.

How did you get to be comfortable in front of a camera and on stage at such a young age? Where does your confidence come from?

My dad always says “whatever you can conceive and you truly believe you will achieve”. My parents have never held me back from anything and I’m extremely grateful to have such an awesome support system. I was a very expressive, outgoing kid. Singing to strangers in Speedos (yes, there’s an embarrassing home video) and always living in my own dream world of make believe— from building forts and talking to myself to flipping my imaginary fins like Ariel from The Little Mermaid, making up my own songs and dressing my Barbies up to go to the Oscars… I always had to be doing something creative and my Dad was always there with his video camera to document every second of it.

90210 to End Five-Year Run in May

The CW is relocating 90210 to the big zip code in the sky.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the network has decided to end the ’90s reboot in May after five seasons.

The closure-filled series finale, which will likely be paired with a retrospective, is set to air on Monday, May 13.

Less-than-zippy ratings led to The CW’s call, as 90210 this season alone slid from a million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating (with its opener) to, at last tally, under 600,000 viewers and a 0.3, shedding a significant chunk of its Carrie Diaries lead-in.

90210, a continuation of the 10-season cultural phenom Beverly Hills, 90210, launched to much fanfare in 2008 — with Jennie Garth among the original cast members who, for a time, reprised their roles in the new incarnation.

Jessica Shows Her make-up Bag to Grazia Daily

While in London, Jessica showed Grazia Daily her make-up bag.

Bioré Daily Cleansing wipes: I have been using these since I was 12 and they are easy to carry when I’m travelling.

Links of London Mirror: I love this little mirror, one of my London based friends gave to me. It always makes me feel nostalgic for fun times in the city, I love London and come here as much as I can when I’m not filming 90210.

Dior Nude Foundation: This Dior foundation is great as it gives me a natural glow and feels light on my skin, I like the fact it doesn’t cover up my freckles.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Nail Gloss: As I’m in London so much I always visit your drug stores to top up my beauty essentials. I found this product in Superdrug and haven’t stopped wearing it since.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact: I use this when I want to achieve a subtle glow. I love its versatility, I use it on my face as bronzer and on my eyes as an eye shadow and highlighter.

MeMeMe Boho Balms: I heard about the new balms from one of my London friends and I knew I had to go and pick one up. I love that the pot is split in two with a shade for lips and a shade for cheeks, plus the floral tin is so pretty.

Diorshow Waterproof Mascara: I have a lot of crying scenes in 90210 and so I use this mascara when I’m on set!

I have been using mineral make up quite a bit recently, I love that its light but its coverage is still good. I found BM Beauty online and love their eye shadows, the colours are very rich.

Bobbi Brown Cosmic Raspberry Lipstick: This lipstick is perfect shade for day and night!

Daines & Hathaway Make Up Bag: I have a really big make up bag for travelling but when I’m on the go I use this to keep my handbag essentials in.

BM Beauty Brushes: These are so soft and perfect for blending my eye shadows or applying my bronzers and blushers

“Carnival” Excites with Dark, Punk feel

The Oracle Online has an article about “The Devil’s Carnival”, read an excerpt below and visit hsuoracle.com for the full article.

“Let me tell you a tale for a penny. One that you cannot hear anywhere else, not anywhere else. I heard from a birdy it doesn’t end purdy, it doesn’t end well. No, it never ends well. Let me spin you a yarn for a cent. Lord, would it not be a sin to deny yourself a tale?”

In 2008 director Darren Bousman (“Saw” 2, 3 and 4) and writer Terrance Zdunich premiered a theatrical release of their stage play/rock opera “Repo! The Genetic Opera.” Originally slated for 3000 screens, “Repo!” appeared on a mere 14, leaving the pair “in a depression, drinking gin in the bathtub,” according to Bousman.

Determined not to give up, the pair loaded the film onto a rented bus and toured it across the country, playing one show a night in any theater that would have them. With these humble “punk-rock film making” beginnings “Repo!” became a cult hit, going so far as to be called “the next ‘Rocky Horror’” by The Hollywood Reporter.

Jessica talks boys, breakups and her sexy new single

Jessica talks boys, breakups and her sexy new single “I Wish I Was Gay” in this interview with Celebuzz.

According to Jessica, her own breakup actually spawned the sultry tune.

“It’s about girl who finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her, and she’s not going to let him get away with it,” she told Celebuzz at her video wrap party at NYC hotspot, Beauty & Essex. “I was going through a breakup when I started writing the music. It was my therapy, and it was awesome… Almost every girl has had man drama and once said, ‘I don’t understand these men.’”

So how is her dating life these days? The 23-year-old actress reveals:

“Dating life is good. I’m single, but it’s awesome and fun.”

And note to guys – if you see her out, go up and say hi! “Guys can totally approach me. I like a guy that has confidence and goes after what he wants. It’s sexy!” Jessica said, adding she loves a man with a sense of humor.

“If a guy can give me a belly laugh within the first minute, he’s a keeper. At the end of the day, when I’m a little old lady, I just want to be with my best friend, laughing.”

Jessica reveals Adrianna’s ‘tricky’ future with Dixon

In this article from Hollywood Life, Jessica reveals Adrianna’s ‘tricky’ future with Dixon.

Of course, we all know bad things tend to happen when Adrianna mixes business with pleasure:

“When they do start working on music together, it gets tricky,” Jessica admitted. “It isn’t easy when you’re working with and dating the same person.”

But Jessica, who was decked out in Simon G jewelry and a QVC M by Marc Bouwer bolero, still has high hopes for Adrianna and Dixon’s relationship.

“They have a lot of stuff in common,” she explained. “Adrianna knows a lot about addiction and can really be there to help him through it. They really bonded, especially over the Navid and Silver thing; it’s never fun to be cheated on, especially when it’s with your best friend. [Adrianna] went really crazy.”

So does this mean the pill-swapping, song-stealing, back-stabbing Adrianna we loved to hate is gone for good? Maybe not! It’s rumored that someone from her past — reportedly the baby she gave up in season one — will come back into her life, and Jessica told us “there’s going to be a lot of drama.”

“You will fall back in love with her as you see the pain she’s going through,” she said. “My eyes are still puffy from all the crying. Adrianna cries in every episode!”

Jessica Lowndes: I Have To Win Back The Fans

New interview from The Insider. Read below…

Insider.com: Adrianna has had wild highs and crazy lows — what was your favorite moment for her?
Jessica Lowndes: I’ve loved it all – I loved the element of surprise. I never knew, signing on, what I was in for with this show [laughs] and it’s been more than I ever could have asked for. The role has been challenging and great and I think you see a very human side to her. In the beginning, her drug problems were challenging — especially because I was a guest star and wanted to impress the writers [laughs]. Then the pregnancy and questioning her sexuality, those were interesting too. I felt a strong sense of responsibility in telling those stories.

Insider: If I were to ask about low points, would you cite last season?
Jessica: I didn’t think many of her decisions were very ethical. I think it stemmed from her life, which is pandemonium – the one constant keeping her sane was Navid. And after she found out that her best friend was sleeping with him, it just heightened that craziness in her mind. On top of that, she was losing her fame and being slandered in the news. It doesn’t make what she did right, but she was full of vengeance. This year, she’s definitely realized what she did was wrong. She literally hit rock bottom last year. Now she’s going to try her best to earn everyone’s forgiveness.

Insider: Silver doesn’t seem too forgiving though.
Jessica: It takes time – I know it won’t be quick and Silver can never forget, but they’ve been friends since childhood. In time, those walls will slowly come down the more Adrianna proves herself.

Insider: Do you feel like the onus is also on you to win the audience back in the same way that Adrianna has to win Silver back?
Jessica: Definitely. You just worded it perfectly. I have to win back the viewer’s trust. Every week on Twitter they keep saying, “I don’t know if I trust her yet.” Changing their minds motivates me. All the fans remember is when she’s mean but at the end of the day, Adrianna does have a heart, so now the challenge is not coming off conniving — seeming genuine has been the challenge. But I like playing a nicer version of her. My eyes certainly enjoy it. No more crying.

Jessica Previews Adrianna’s Redemption (and Surprise Musical Comeback!)

Jessica Lowndes Previews Adrianna’s Redemption (and Surprise Musical Comeback!).

Considering the trail of destruction she blazed last season on The CW’s 90210 (Tuesdays at 8/7c), Adrianna Tate-Duncan was in desperate need of an image makeover. Thankfully, the sudser’s new showrunners recognized that fact and have given the once lovable character a fresh start in more ways than one.

Here, Jessica Lowndes tells TVLine what’s ahead for the redemption-seeking character — and what she has to say may come as a surprise.

Ade is getting back to the music biz…kinda. And it seems the industry-shunned celeb may soon be forgiven.

“In this week’s episode, Adrianna performs a song called ‘Fool’ — which is actually one of my real songs from my EP coming out later this year,” the budding musician previews. “Where last year saw Ade fame-driven and obsessed with the idea of celebrity, she now comes from a truthful place. She doesn’t want to have anything to do with the industry, but ends up singing at the last second at Raj’s cancer treatment fundraiser.”

Jessica talks 90210, love and fashion

Jessica talks with She Knows about 90210 Season 4, her single status, and what styles she’s looking forward to this fall.

“I’m loving the maxi skirt,” said Jessica. “I love it because it can go from spring to fall, and you just layer it with sweaters. I’m also loving the block colors with neon.”

But not all fashion-forward looks make Jessica’s list.

“I’m not big on high-waisted pants,” says Jess.

On set though, the only thing Jessica will have to worry about around her waist is an apron.

She tells us that because her character, Adrianna Tate-Duncan, didn’t graduate high school with the rest of the cast, she’ll be working for tips this season.

“She’s a barmaid,” Jessica told SheKnows. “Liam lets Adrianna work as a waitress at his bar considering she didn’t go to college. It’s going good and she keeps doing all these kind acts, and slowly winning back everyone’s trust. She took a really dark turn last year. She’s definitely going to try to redeem herself.”

But just because she lost her popstar status, doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing Jessica/Adrianna hit the stage this year.

Jessica teases a new Adrianna

Jessica teases 90210’s Adrianna with The Hollywood Reporter.

While Lowndes teases that the process is a slow one, the actress revealed that she will have some early support from a few unlikely sources.

“Dixon (Tristan Wilds) is the first character that takes her under his wing and he really feels sorry for her,” she says. “He’s her only friend even though he doesn’t really trust her. She starts doing these acts of kindness that slowly wins back people’s trust and you see her heart.”

Lowndes says Dixon will go above and beyond to help Ade get back on her feet after the stunts she pulled to rocket to fame in the music industry come full circle, connecting her with a job waitressing at Liam’s bar, providing her a direct link to everyone she’s so desperately trying to win back. “Right now she’s anti-music and she thinks it’s the devil,” Lowndes says.

InStyle meets Jessica to find out her top beauty secrets

Jessica reveals her top beauty secrets to InStyle in this interview. Read it below! Also, make sure to check out the gallery for some more gorgeous pics from Isklar UK’s “Do Different” beauty event. You can view them along with a preview and link to gallery album after this article.

You all have quite distinctive styles on 90210 – is this done on purpose and do you get any say over what your character Adrianna wears?

I think it’s kind of appropriate that each of the characters on the show has their own sense of style. After all, they each have strong personalities so it makes sense that they would dress a certain way that compliments who they are.

I don’t have much say in what my character wears but it’s very close to my own personal style.

Adrianna and I both like vintage and femine chic style clothing. Luckily LA is full of really great vintage boutiques so whenever I have some free time I’m always shopping around, looking for something else to add to my wardrobe

What’s next for Adrianna on the show?

I hope she redeems herself and gets forgiveness, but you never know with Adrianna as drama follows her wherever she goes…so watch and see!

Do you prefer working in TV or Film – what would you like to do more of?

They’re both so different and I love working on both. TV is faster paced, but then film scenes can be more intense.
